Planet X

David Meade has written several self-published books and his latest predict catastrophic events that we will experience here on earth due to Planet X.

According to the Washington Post, “On Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, a constellation — a sign prophesied in the Book of Revelation — would reveal itself in the skies over Jerusalem, signaling the beginning of the end of the world as we know it. Meade believes that by the end of October, the world may enter what’s called a seven-year tribulation period, a fairly widespread evangelical belief that for seven years, catastrophic events would happen.”1

What exactly is planet X, sometimes called Nibiru? It supposedly has a diameter around 180,000 kilometers which would make it over three times the size of Jupiter. When this undetectable planet, (to all but Meade) arrives in our solar system, it will cause a massive solar flare which will bring down our electrical grid worldwide. Gas pumps, ATM’s, and transportation will grind to a halt.

According to Meade, “Like many of the stars in our universe, our sun is a member of a binary system. Planet X is a brown dwarf star that is on an elliptical orbit every 3,600 years around the sun. The amazing thing about this book is that I believe I have discovered not only the year but the month Planet X wrecks havoc on the world. It is so close you will be shocked when you realize it. The world as we have known it will no longer exist.”2

Will the world end on the 23, today? No, but according to Meade it just marks the beginning which will be recognized by a sign in the sky from Revelations 12:1-2. This sign has never occurred before in human history and never will again. Once we see this sign we will have between 1 and 24 hours to do what we feel is the most important. Then on October 5th Planet X will eclipse the sun and cover the whole earth and moon in its shadow. After that, Rapture begins.

These doomsday stories come around every few years and those lucky enough to capitalize on them by creating a website, self-publish a book or two, and host some Youtube channels are the only ones who gain from this kind of nonsensical sci-fi horror.

Live Science contacted Meade asking him about this. “Repetition doesn’t appear to faze Meade. When asked by Live Science whether the failed Planet X predictions of recent years gave him any pause in his own prognostications, he responded by email, “There’s never been a year like 2017. Read my book.”3

My advice? Don’t buy his book. Enjoy your family and friends, and the outdoors if the weather is nice.

  1. Good advice!

  2. Well, I’m sure the end as predicted by Meade is based on PST, since as we all know; California is the center of the New Age Metaphysical Universe. After all, we do have more Loonies per square mile than any other state. so I guess it will begin in the next six hours. (+/- a few thousand days, weeks, months or years)

  3. However, I’ll not be holding my breath while waiting.

Feel free to leave a reply. :)
