If God is so perfect, then why did he create something so imperfect allowing pain, suffering and daily atrocities? The question that is really being asked is why would a perfect God allow evil if he is all powerful, all knowing, and all loving. To many atheists and skeptics, this would not be sensible. Most of us have seen the pictures of the Easter Island stone heads and wonder who and why a civilization would have created such statues.
